Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12 November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej or now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. First gymnast in history to score a 10 for an Olympic competition. Comaneci was spotted by Bela Karolyi, later to be the Romanian gymnastics instructor when she was six years old. She took part at the Romanian Junior Championships and placed 13th. In 1970, she won the title. Her first ever international event in 1972 she won the event having won three golds. In 1975 she was awarded 4 gold and 1 silver in her first senior competition. Lyudmila Torishcheva was a five-time European Champion. The first female ever to perform the backwards double salto when dismounting from an uneven parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She began her career in entertainment in her teens, when she performed as an ice skating duo along with her sibling Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne is a United States citizen, born on the 6th of September 1942, in Chicago, Illinois. Carol began her career as an entertainer as a teen. She started her career performing figure skating with Nina Wayne, her younger sister, in the traveling entertainment show Ice Capades. Ice Capades featured performances of skaters ice skating with actors.
